HEALTH, TEMPERAMENT & STRUCTURE

Known to us as "Monkey", she is another Boxer that we had no original intention of keeping.  That's not to say we didn't want to or thought her quality was not great, but only because we were at our limit for the number of dogs we wanted in our home.  For unforeseen reason, Monkey's original home fell through.  The longer she was with us, the harder it became to let her go.  We told ourselves that if a close by home came along where we would be able to see her, we would let her go.  Potential homes came, but all were either so far or not good enough in our eyes for our special girl.

At only a few months old, Monkey started doing some pretty incredible things that only one of our other Boxers could do.  Her father dives 6 feet in our pool to retrieve his toys.  As much as we've tried, none of our other Boxers will do this.  However, at only 4 months old, Monkey started diving on her own.  She also jumps for long distances off the side of the pool.

These amazing traits passed down from her father, her beautiful conformation from both her parents, her great health results and her fun personality, we just had to keep her as part of our family!

Monkey finished her Championship all from the Bred By class and completely owner handled!  There were times towards the end after many reserves, I almost gave in to having a pro get that last single point.  I'm so glad I didn't!  Being a plain brindle girl made her title even more meaningful to me!
