Although Bocephus was the clear stand-out in his litter and as close to a sure thing as you can get at 8 weeks old, I had not intended to keep Bo. Very quickly Bo stole the heart of Jeff and I was soon told “he’s not going anywhere!” I guess if one was going to add another boy to their home, they would be ecstatic with this one. He is an all-round beautiful dog with awesome bone, a strong head with a grabbing expression, great substance, size and a square appearance among many other great qualities.
I've put many points on my dogs owner/handled including multiple majors, but Bocephus is the first I went for it all the way and finished him! Going into Bo's last set of shows for his Championship, he was awarded 3 back to back Best Of Winners! I'm so happy I stuck it out and did it all myself!! Thank you to all my friend who support us and of course to My Love!
Bocephus completed his Grand in a way I couldn't have dreamt, with not only back to back Breed wins over other Specials, but went on those days to win a Group One and Group Three!! And still all owner handled!!
Bocephus is also a UKC Champion in one weekend.
With only competing in the National Owner Handle Series half of the 2015 eligible year, Bocephus still finished #1 Owner Handled Boxer. Bo went on to also finish 2016 #1 Owner Handled and was the Breed winner in the Owner Handle Finals for 2016.
We've been able to share some amazing accomplishments with Bocephus. Some of the top of the list was Best Opposite Sex to the #1 Boxer All Breed at the AKC National Championships handled by myself. Bo was also awarded BOS just days before at the Florida Working Dog Club handled by Aaron Rosas Lemus. He was 2nd place from a very large class at the 2019 ABC National 6-8 year Veteran class.
On November 1, 2019, Bocephus became our first American Boxer Club Sire Of Merit! He is a dog of many Firsts for us but more importantly, the most well rounded, balanced dogs!
Bocephus is available for stud to approved, health tested females.
